Understanding Dark Matter, Swinburne University of Technology

Astro-physicist Pol Gurri was working for the prestigious European Space Agency when he decided to come to Australia to do his PhD on ‘Dark Matter’. No-one is really sure what dark matter is just yet, but as the invisible wind moves trees, we know dark matter is there by the way it moves objects throughout the universe. With the passion of the Spanish explorers, Pol’s passion for the unknown is infectious. Pol cites ‘We wouldn’t have GPS in our phones today unless Einstein discovered the theory of relativity. Imagine what todays discoveries could lead us to create in the fifty years from now?”
